Meet the Owner
Brett Takatch, Owner of Marble Valley Contracting
Brett started Marble Valley Contracting (formerly Takatch Contracting) in 2017 with a clear vision in mind. After over a decade of experience working as Superintendent/ Machine operator for the top residential hardscape company in the Lower mainland, managing the expectations and deliverables of high end clientele, Brett developed the skill of not only honing in on his craft, but delivering a clients vision with passion, integrity and transparency. It quickly became apparent within the industry that both clients, and fellow contractors were drawn to working with him because of his approachability and confidence within his work.
In his early years, it didn't take long for Brett to identify some of the flaws overshadowing the industry. The most concerning of them being the lack of transparency with the total cost associated within a project and meeting both a clients budget and expectations. It didn't seem fair that a client was left with a less than satisfied job that came with hidden fees and an additional cost. Always wearing his heart on his sleeve, Brett decided to roll them up..... and so, Marble Valley Contracting was created.
"Mi casa et su casa" is more than just a saying for Brett who truly dives into each and every project, no matter how big or small, as if it were his own home. Born and raised on the West Coast, Bretts eye for design combined with his hard work ethic and versatile skill set ranging from Project Management to Horticulture, all collaborate to create a true sense of West Coast sophistication. He's dedicated to taking your vision, adding his value and expertise, and leaving behind not only an oasis exceeding a clients wildest dreams, but something he can equally be proud to have delivered... as if it were his own home!
